Vidya Bharati Alumni Aparna Singh Chauhan got selected for Netball India Team

“Play like a Champion”, a mantra that has been Aparna Singh Chauhan’s life motto, since she was a school going kid.

Aparna began her career playing basketball and netball where she received high recognition. Her parents were always proud of her and supported her in her passion. Aparna’s talent was recognised by her mentor and coach Vibha Chaudhary and Nitin Kumar. Their inspiration enabled her to reach the highest peak in her sports career. 

Aparna Singh went on to become the captain of Netball Federation Team in Uttar Pradesh, Junior as well as Senior rank and finally got selected for Indian Team at International level. She became a member of under 21 Women’s team for the Eleventh Youth Asian Netball Championship 2019, Japan. 

Her achievements has been nothing short of remarkable. She won a gold medal in Vidya Bharati basketball tournament in 2017 and silver medal for Netball in the same year. Later, Aparna went on to win bronze medal in Open Junior National in 2019. 

Vidya Bharati schools have always laid great stress on Sports. Several National and International sports persons like Aparna got a boost from their schools.
