Aditi Sidhara and Sunny, both alumni of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Hira Nagar, bring laurels by securing top marks in the class 10 examination held by Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education.
Hailing from the small town, Hira Nagar of Kathua district, both Aditi and Sunny were able to beat all odds and come out with flying colors in their board examinations.
They both attribute their respective success to their school and their teachers who ensured that Covid-induced lockdown and restrictions do not hamper studies of the students. While Aditi mentions, every time she faced any issue, her teachers were always there to solve her problems, Sunny recalls, how he was constantly motivated by his teachers that paved his way to score 9.80 CGPA.
Aditi’s father works as a school teacher and helped her with her studies at home. She would study for long hours and sometimes take a break to practice dance or do some painting. “More than studying hard, I studied with a lot of honestly and sincerity”, mentioned Aditi who has scored a 90% marks with A1 grades in Mathematics, Hindi, Science and Social Science.
Sunny’s father works as an electrician and often has to be away from home for work. “I took short breaks in every two hours of study. These short breaks helped me to clear-up my mind and start fresh again”, mentioned Sunny, who has scored a 95% marks with A1 grades in Mathematics, Hindi, Science and Social Science.
Both Aditi and Sunny have strong desired to become doctors and help the poor and needy ones of the society.
