In talks with Manish Jha, Vidya Bharati alumni and accountant from Siliguri, West Bengal

Shri Manish Jha, is an alumnus of  Sarada Sishu Teertha, Sevoke Road, where he had studied till class 5. Recently he was interviewed by Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra alumni portal team, which has been briefly mentioned below:
 

Interviewer:  Kindly tell us something about your professional and academic background.

Mr. Jha:  I am an alumnus of Sarada Sishu Teertha, Sevoke Road. I have passed out my Class 5 from this school and thereafter had gone to Hindi Vidyapeeth School from where I passed my 12th in the year 2012. After schooling, I did my graduation in B Com (Hons) from IGNOU in the year 2018.

I was forced to leave  my studies for some time after 2012 as there were some financial issues in my family. Then later, when the condition became better, I pursued my graduation and completed it in 2018. Presently I am doing a full time job as back office accountant in Siliguri at VKS Group since 2017.  
 

Interviewer:  Kindly tell us something about your family background.

Mr. Jha: I stay in Siliguri with my parents and brother. My father has been in private service for many years.

 

Interviewer: Are you associated with any kind of social work?

Mr. Jha: I have been taught to think about and serve others before oneself from my school, teachers and parents since early childhood. Though presently I am not attached to any formal organisation, I try and help those in need whenever possible.

 

Interviewer:  Do you want to say something about your school or Vidya Bharati in general?

Mr. Jha: I will be ever thankful to my teachers and and school for not only providing me with academic knowledge but also the life skills to withstand any difficulties that life throws at me.I feel that I am connected with my school from the heart. One should never forget what Vidya Bharati has taught us about our nation and culture.
