Abhishek Chauhan is the son of a farmer. But that did not stop him from aiming big. From becoming a mechanical engineer to winning the title of Mr. Uttarakhand and working for the orphan children, Abhishek Chauhan’s life is a passionate dream turned to reality.
An alumnus of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Sec2 Bhel Ranipur Haridwar, Abhishek as a child took active participation in various co-curricular activities. “I was especially fond of sports and hence, I represented my school in various state as well as national level sporting events”, mentioned Abhishek, who has also won many awards for his school.
After completing his high school, Abhishek joined an engineering college to pursue a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon completing his course he started to work as a model for product advertisements and soon got an opportunity to participate in the Mr. Uttarakhand contest. His great dedication and hard work fetched him the title and gave him the stardom he aimed. This title also paved him the way to get associated with social cause and help those in need.
“During this time I came to know about an orphanage in Haridwar called Vatsalyavatika. I started working closely with this organization by not only helping them to raise funds, but also by volunteering my time”, mentioned Abhishek, who has been supporting the orphanage for the past 4 to 5 years.
After working as a model for some time, Abhishek joined Oriental Carbon & Chemicals, a globally renowned manufacturer of Insoluble Sulphur, as an Assistant Manager and is presently working there.
