Shrimati Supriya Subhasini Swain, an alumna of Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir Badagada Brit Colony, recently shared her story with Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra alumni portal team.

Supriya has done her Schooling till class 10th from Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir Badagada Brit Colony and completed her 12th from local Women’s College in the year 2012. She has done her graduation in BCA from Image College, Rasulgarh, which is in Bhubaneswar for 3 years. Then she did her Masters (MCA) from ITER, Bhubaneswar for 2 years.

After successfully completing her masters, she got her campus placements in Suyog Computech for the role of Software developer in the year 2017. She is still continuing working in the same company.

Supriya is originally from Bhubaneswar and where she stays with her family. Her family consists of her father, mother and brother. Her father is in the Police department.

Supriya was always good in studies and wanted to pursue BBA and then wanted to do management courses, but her family was not happy about her decision. They wanted her to pursue a career in IT, as they thought it would suit her talents better. Respecting her parents decision, she changed her plans and decided to go for BCA  and MCA courses after her schooling.

Supriya is well aware of her social responsibility and tries to give back to society when an opportunity arises. Although she doesn't get much time due to her busy lifestyle, she regularly gives financial support, clothes and books to those in need.

While speaking with the alumni portal team about her school, Supriya said that when she was in school, she felt the discipline followed by Vidya Bharati schools were very strict, but it was later in life, after she grew up, she realised how important those lessons were in life. She thanked her teachers for supporting and guiding her as parents. Now whenever she looks back to her school days she misses her teachers and friends as she feels it was one of the best times of her life.

Vidya  Bharati Purv Chatra Parishad thanks Supriya Subhasini Swain for sharing her story with the community.
