Alumni and Board examination state topper Gagan Dixit, shares his success strategy

Determination, willpower, hard work and proper time management are all fundamental requirements for success. 

Gagan Dixit, an alumnus of Saraswati Sishu Mandir Gaur Jhamar endowed with all the above qualities hit the pinnacle of success, when he scored a near perfect marks of 499 out of total 500 in his class 10 board examinations. He exceptional  result helped him to clinch the position of being the state topper of Madhya Pradesh.

Gagan who belongs to a farming family, says he is happy with his accomplishment as he was able to make his parents proud. He also thanked his English teacher Sh Jitendra Namdev for  helping him with his studies for the past two years.

Gagan says that to achieve this kind of result he had sacrificed a lot. He cut off social media and use of mobile phones completely while preparing for the exam as he felt that they could distract him from his aim. He also skipped on his hobbies during the period and gave his entire focus on his academics.

Presently Gagan  is studying in class 11 at Government High School, Gaur Jhamar and dreams of becoming an IAS officer in the future as he wants to  serve his country.

Sh Rajesh Dixit, Gagan’s father, revealed that his son his not only good in academics, but also possess great passion for Badminton and Cricket. He is also quite religious in nature and often  attends such events.

On asking Gagan what message he wants to give to his fellow students, Gagan said that he wants to tell everyone that it is important to manage one’s stress level as it can have an adverse effect on one’s focus and concentration. Thus he would like to advise all the students to take up some sort of sports or physical activity that will help them to cope with academic pressure and help them with their mental focus.
