This year Vidya Bharati students have done exceptionally well in their class 10th and 12th board examinations across the country. Many of them received more than 90 percent and secured top positions in state or district levels.
Ayushman Nanda, a student of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Ghodabazar, Puri, Odisha showed an outstanding result by scoring an aggregate percentage of 96.16 in his class 10th board examination, securing 3rd rank among students from all Vidya Bharati schools in the state who had sat for the examination.
Ayushman has been a student of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, since 2009, where he had been admitted by his parents in the Primary section. He had always been a serious student and enjoyed studying, his favourite subject being Mathematics. Ayushman enjoys solving complex mathematical problems and proudly stated that he had scored 100% in mathematics in his board examination. He is extremely pleased with his overall performance. He gave full credit to his school and teachers for helping and supporting him throughout his student life, which ultimately led him to move one step closer towards achieving his goals.
Ayushman wants to sit for Civil Service examinations next and aims to become an IAS officer so that he can serve his country as well as fulfil his parent’s dreams. He plans to pursue his graduation along with preparing for the competitive examinations.
Talking about his experience at his school, Ayushman stated that he feels extremely grateful to get a chance to study under a Vidya Bharati school as the teachers give a thorough knowledge about the subjects, which he believes is important to build a strong foundation in any subject. He was also encouraged to pursue his passion in science and participate in different competitions. He often won prizes in Science Exhibitions organised by Vidya Bharati.
When asked about his suggestions to other students, Ayushman said that he relies on quality study, rather than quantity. He feels that sitting with a book for 10 to 12 hours is not necessary. One can score good marks with 3 to 4 hours of study, if it is done in a planned way and with full focus. He further stated that students should also cultivate a habit of reading and keeping updated with current news. He himself is an avid reader and never misses reading the daily newspaper.
Ayushman has embarked on a new journey and when asked if there is something that he needs for the future, the confident young student replied that he has full faith in his own hard work, the only thing that he needs is a guide and mentor who can help him in his perusal of his dreams.
Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra Parishad congratulates Ayushman Nanda for his outstanding results and wishes him all the best for his future endeavours. We also congratulate his teachers and parents for supporting him unconditionally.
