Shri Avinash Kumar, an alumnus of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Kumhartoli, Hazaribagh, recently sat down for a brief interview with Vidya Bharati alumni team to talk about his experiences, whose brief account has been given below:
Mr. Kumar passed his class 10th from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Kumhartoli, Hazaribagh, in the year 1997. After this, he went to St. Columba's College Hazaribagh to complete his 12th in the year 1999. He did his graduation in History (Hons) from the same college, in the year 2002.
After completing his graduation, he joined a Private company in Ranchi and later shifted to Garv Electronics Pvt Ltd, where he worked for 4 to 5 years to gather experience. In 2014, he set up his own business where he has taken agencies of 3-4 companies of milk and other food products and presently runs a successful business in Hazaribagh. He also runs a canteen for a local university.
Mr. Kumar is originally from Hazaribagh and stays with his parents, wife and two kids. His father is into a government employee.
Mr. Kumar said that now a days he do not get much time to do social service but he was once a part of an NGO, named ‘Navbharat Vikas Kendra’, where there were group of people, who used to help the poor/needy people to take out there money which is stuck with LIC and other such agencies. Most of the people who came for help belonged to villages and were not literate,so the NGO helped them free of cost.
Lastly Mr. Kumar, thanked his school and teachers for helping him to develop a sound foundation that has helped him grow both personally and professionally.
