Vidya Bharati Alumni from Jharkhand and a successful businessman for past two decades, Shri Deepak Kumar Agarwal talks about how his school helped him to connect to his sense of nationalism and service

Shri Deepak Kumar Agarwal, an alumnus of Anpati Devi Saraswati Sishu Vidyamandir, Phusro and a businessman by profession shared his story with Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra team via an interview, whose brief account has been given below.

 

Mr. Agarwal passed his class 10th from Anpati Devi Saraswati Sishu Vidyamandir, Phusro, in the year 1995. After this, he went to Bineshwari Dubey Avasya Maha Vidyalaya, to complete his 12th in the year 1997. He did his graduation in B Com (Hons) from Bineshwari Dubey Avasya Maha Vidyalaya, in the year 2000. 

 

After graduation, in the year 2001, he set up his own business of Mobile distribution and Coal trading which he is still associated with for the past 20 years

 

Mr. Agarwal is originally a resident of  Phusro, Bokaro, where he stays with his parents, sister and brother. His father is a businessman as well and runs his own separate business.

 

Mr. Agarwal is an active social worker as well and is involved in the Sangh. He is a 'Sachiv' in Dhanbad Vibhag of Purv Chatra. Recently during Covid 19 related lockdown, he along with fellow members were responsible for distributing food to the needy.


 

While speaking with Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra team, Mr. Agarwal explained that the foundation of every student is very important and under Vidya Bharati, all students get optimum opportunities to develop their talents alongside academics.


 

Before ending the conversation Mr. Agarwa expressed his gratitude towards his school for developing the sense of humility and service. He further went on to thank his teachers for their patient guidance during his school days. According to Mr. Agarwal, it was the efforts of his school that had helped him to connect with his cultural roots and develop a deep sense of nationalism.
