Shri Akhilesh Narayan, an alumnus of P T J Maharaj Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Bokaro steel city, shared his experiences with Vidya Bharati alumni portal team via a brief interview, which has been given below.
Akhilesh has done his schooling from class 6th to class 12th from P T J Maharaj Saraswati Vidya Mandir, 3/c, Bokaro steel city and passed out in the year 2012. He did his Mechanical Engineering degree from GJU, Hisar for 4 years and passed in the year 2016. Then he pursued his MBA in the field of Marketing and Operations from Lovely Professional University, Punjab where he got 100% scholarship. The University holds an internal test called ‘NEST’ where Akhilesh was among top 3 scorers and thus he got 100% Scholarship in the University for further studies. He also taught at the university as Teaching Associate in Data Science.
Akhilesh has always been a very sincere student since his school days and received several accolades throughout his student life.
On the professional front, after completing the management degree, Akhilesh was recruited by ITC in the campus placement for the designation of Area Executive in Jharkhand in 2018. He worked there for a year and then shifted to Abbott India Pvt Ltd as a channel Sales Manager – State Head, Jharkhand, where he is presently working. Recently he has started his own venture in the field of Data Science and Data Analytics work in collaboration with four other partners and is supported by a team of 23 staff members. The name of the company is ‘Quickras Infotech’ and is proving to be quite successful.
On the family front, Akhilesh is originally from Bihar but stays in Jharkhand for work. His father, mother and brother stays in Bihar where he goes very frequently. His father works as a Govt Teacher in Bihar.
In spite of having a very busy schedule, Akhilesh has been associated with social service as well. He has an NGO named as ‘Jeevan Jagriti Foundation’ where they give free tuition classes to students till class 6. The organisation is running 3 centers in Jharkhand with almost 350 students. Anyone who is willing to take classes can come and study. They have hired passed graduate students as teachers. This way they are creating jobs for new graduates and also giving free education to many.
Before ending the interview, Akhilesh thanked his school and teachers for teaching him valuable life lessons.
