CBI joint director Ramnish Geer, an alumus of SMB Gita Sr. Sec School, Kurukshetra has been awarded the coveted President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

CBI joint director Ramnish Geer, an alumus of SMB Gita Sr. Sec School, Kurukshetra has been awarded the coveted President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Ramnish Geer, a 1994- batch officer of CBI cadre, who as the head CBI's Bhopal and Hyderabad zones, supervises various high profile cases registered at CBI branches in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andra Pradesh, Telangna, Karnataka and Vidarbh region of Maharastra. He has also served with the UN peace keeping mission in Sudan.

Earlier in 2014 he was awarded the Independence Day Medal for Meritorious Police Service and the Gold Medal for 2006 as the Best Investigating Officer.
