Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and Purv Chatra Diwas celebrated in Meerut school

On 19 January, 2020, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated along with Purv Chatra Diwas at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Keshav nagar, Modinagar Road, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. The event was organised by Purv Chatra Parishad, Hapur. Approximately 150 alumni and students of the school attended the event.

Several well established alumni were present during the event, including Chief guest and alumni Dr. Navneet Goel - HOD - Orthopedic, Ambedkar Medical College, Rohini, Delhi.

• Dr. Anil Sharma ( Head of Department - Hindi, Machhra Degree College,Meerut University)

The event saw exquisite cultural and nationalistic performances by the school students. The present alumni members  were also provided with information regarding the Vidya Bharati alumni portal.
