Sarada Vidya Mandir, Jamunabali - Providing holistic education to its students since 2012

Established in the year 2012, Sarada Vidya Mandir, Jamunabali, is located in the village of Jamunabali of  Paschim Medinipur district , West Bengal. It has always been the vision of Vidya Bharati to provide quality education in remote villages and areas where good educational institutions are lacking. Sarada Vidya Mandir, Jamunabali is one such example.

Within a short period of time, the school has grown in leaps and bound and gained the trust of the local residents. 

The foundation of the school was laid on 23rd January on the occasion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday and started with only 16 students, 3 teachers and 2 class rooms.

In the year 2015, the school got affiliation till Class 8. In 2016 the affliction was increased to Class 10 and to Class 12 in the year 2019.

Presently the school educates around 750 Students. There are 25 teaching staff and supported further by 4 non teaching staff.

The school is equipped with 28 class rooms and all essential modern facilities needed for overall development of the students. It has a well equipped library, as well as computer and science labs.

As all Vidya Bharati schools a lot of attention is given towards the moral development of the students. Humanity, Nationalism, Social service, Environmental sustainability, Cultural values, all find its place alongside top quality academics. The students learn to emphasize and become socially responsible citizens.

Alongside academics, moral and social development, physical activities, games and sports occupy a pivotal role in the overall curriculum. All students participate in Annual Sports Day with immense enthusiasm and vigour.

Other Co-curricular activities such as music, dance, oration, art, debate, science competition and quizzes also find their place in the school curriculum as well.

All cultural events and patriotic dates are celebrated with the view of making the students more rooted to their cultural and national identity.
