Purv Chatra Sammelan, at Bettiah, Bihar

On 8th February 2020 an alumni meet was held at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Dr. Hedgewar Nagar Barwat Sena, Bettiah located in Uttar Bihar Pranta from 10 am onward. On 9th February, an Annual Function was also held at the school.

Approximately 6500 attendees were present during the event consisting of students, parents, teachers, alumni and guests.

All present 200 alumni were honoured on stage  during the event. Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra alumni portal representatives were also honoured with mementos for their efforts towards helping the Purv Chatra Community.

Apart from the main event, a focused group meeting was also held consisting of selected alumni representatives to discuss the importance of alumni involvement, how to leverage the alumni portal, organising activities in school by alumni etc.

The event was also covered in numerous print media.
