Interviewer : Please tell us something about yourself.
Pushpendra : I am an alumni of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Bankhedi, Hoshangabad, where I studied till class 8 and then completed my 12th from Central Govt school, Bankhedi. I did my B.Sc degree from Narmada College, Hoshangabad in 2019 and presently pursuing Msc, in maths from Barkatullah University. I have always wanted to serve society and thus currently preparing for IAS examinations.
I started coaching children after completion of my 12th examination and now I have opened two coaching centers of my own - Vision Coaching Classes and Laksh Home
Interviewer : What kind of social work are you associated with?
Pushpendra : As stated earlier I have my own coaching centers. When I had first opened my coaching classes in Hoshangabad there were 20 students who paid coaching fees and I had selected 10 more students, whom I taught, free of cost. I also arranged for their books, as and when needed. Till date I have provided fee coaching to approximately 50 students. Recently I have also started providing free teaching services to nearby schools who are struggling financially.
Interviewer : How did Vidya Bharati impact your life?
Pushpendra : Vidya Bharati has played a very valuable role in my life. It’s ideology, value for humanity and discipline have molded my personality. I have taught in many private schools, but the education pattern of Vidya Bharati is vastly different. It develops human character like no other. Also the teachers are immensely dedicated towards their work. The culture of Vidya Bharati has inspired me to join the ‘Vidyarthi Parishad’ and I was the ‘Nagar Upadhyaksh’ as well as ‘SSV Pramukh’ of the same.
Interviewer : Apart from Vidya Bharati who has inspired you the most?
Pushpendra : I belong to a farming family, and have always looked up to my father Shri Munna Lal Rai. He is one of the most hard working and honest person that I have seen and is my idol.
Interviewer : Would you like to share any message?
Pushpendra : I would only like to urge all Vidya Bharati students to lead a life of hard work, discipline and honesty.
