Vidya Bharati Alumni and CA, Akash Shrivastav from Ghorakhpur speaks about how the values taught to him by Vidya Bharati, enabled him to overcome life's struggles

In today's competitive, fast paced lifestyle, it has been seen that even the slightest of difficulties and obstacles are enough to break the morale of individuals. It is during this time that the strength of character and determination is tested and those with a sound mental foundations emerge victorious.

Akash Shrivastav, Vidya Bharati alumni from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh has faced several challenges in life, but according to him it was the sound teachings of his school that has enabled him to overcome most of the struggles that he had faced during his lifetime. 

Akash started his educational journey with Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Mahavirpuram, which was later incorporated into Saraswati Shishu Mandir Pakki Bagh and continued his higher education at Saraswati Shishu Mandir Sr. Sec School, Subhas Chandra Bose Nagar, Suryakund from where he passed his 12th board examination. After completion of his schooling, he joined Digvijai Nath Post Graduate College under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University to complete his B.Com degree in 2014. Presently he is in his final year of CA under ICAI and also runs his own Tax consultancy firm based in Gorakhpur.

When asked about his journey so far, Akash humbly stated that he had to face a lot of hardships to reach where he is now, but it is not something to tell about as he is sure that it pales in comparison to the difficulties faced by a lot of people in our society who struggle to feed themselves even once a day. In his past several times he was on the verge of giving up on his dreams to become a Chartered Accountant, but it was the strength of his values that was instilled in him as a child during his school days that helped him to carry on towards his aim.

Akash is a nationalist at heart and an active member of RSS and is associated with several social work at personal level as well.He thanked his school for showing him the path of nationalism, which he feels has become one of the key pillars of his life. 

Talking about the impact that Vidya Bharati has had on him, Akash said that his whole personality has been developed by the values he received during his school days. The feeling of responsibility that he has towards his society and nation, stems from his school lessons as well. He is aware of his own cultural roots and the heroism of the great personalities that India has birthed over the years inspires him every day. He thanks Vidya Bharati for helping him to learn in depth the richness of Indian culture.

As a parting message he urged every parent to educate their children, at least for a few years under Vidya Bharati which he feels will enrich their thoughts and lives for their lifetime.
