Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), is India’s largest student Organisation, with members all across the country. Since its inception, it has been associated with a host of social developmental projects and has been the driving force behind several positive changes. It’s an organization that harnesses the power and passion of youth to benefit the society.
Arvind Singh Rajput is a Vidya Bharati alumni from Madhya Pradesh and has been associated with (ABVP) for more than seven years. He is an ex student of Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Bhikangaon. After completion of his schooling from Vidya Bharati, he passed B.Com from Government College Bhikangaon in 2019.
As an activist in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad since 2013, Arvind has been associated with myriad social projects, ranging from organizing blood donation camps, fighting for student rights, food distribution to the needy and environmental conservation. Within the organisation he has held several important positions such as Municipal Vice President, Municipal Minister, Municipal President, Development Block Planner, District Planner etc and was able to discharge all his duties in an efficient manner.
During his work as an active member of the organisation, one of the things that had disturbed him the most in the field of education, is the lack of qualified teachers in village schools across our country. Improving the conditions of these schools is one of the cherished goals of Arvind.
Arvind is of the view that through ABVP, he got the opportunity to work for the betterment of his country. The journey has been an extension of the ideologies that had been taught to him as a student of Vidya Bharati.
While talking about his experience with Vidya Bharati, Arvind pointed out that his school has had a major impact on his personality and how he views the world. He also took the opportunity to thank his teachers for imparting such important life lessons alongside stellar academics. He is still in contact with several Vidya Bharati schools as a part of his social service work.
For Arvind, Vidya Bharati is a source of inspiration for all its students and alumni.
Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra Parishad thanks Arvind Singh Rajput for sharing his journey with the Vidya Bharati community.
