Academic achiever and social worker, alumni Sachin Saran is the true example of modern youth

Today’s youth, the millennials are achievers and multitaskers. They can juggle many responsibilities at once efficiently, with an untiring attitude towards life. When such tenacious approach towards all aspects of life, mix with social consciousness, positive changes are bound to happen.

Sachin Saran an alumnus of Jhabarmal Tibrewala Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan is an excellent example of high achieving socially conscious youth.

After completing his schooling, he did his B.Sc from Shri Kalyan College, Sikar and M.Sc in Mathematics from Mumbai University. Presently he is pursuing his second Masters in Economics from IGNOU. From a young age he has been an academic achiever. In the year 2012 he became ‘All India Special Science Stream’ award winner. He also received ‘INSPIRE’ Scholarship (given by DST New Delhi ,Govt. Of India), for his excellent performance in class 12 board exam.

Sachin is not only an academic achiever but is an ardent social and cultural worker as well. He is associated with several organizations, such as : 

• ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) -  The ABVP's manifesto includes agendas such as educational and university reforms.It competes in student-body elections in colleges and universities. Students for Development (SFD) is an initiative by the ABVP to promote "right perspective towards the need of holistic and sustainable development" in students.

• MeDeVision - MeDeVision, a forum of Medical and Dental students is a pan India initiative started in 2015 with an aim to provide a platform to voice their tribulations at a national level. This forum thrives to empower the future doctors to think out of their textbooks, to be proactive and to participate collectively for improving medical education as well as health care delivery in India.

• National Student’s Film Festival (NSFF) - It is a unique student run initiative jointly organised by Vidyarthi Nidhi Trust and Rashtriya Kala Manch. National Student’s film festival (NSFF) is a perfect platform for students and youth to experiment with new ideas and portray onto the screen to share it with the world. It’s a student and youth oriented theme, making it an occasion for celebration of young minds exhibiting creative ideas onscreen. 

• Mission Sahasi -   It is an ABVP initiative that organizes Self defence training camps for girls.

Sachin believes that properly motivated youth are protectors of culture and the key to positive social change. Thus he works diligently to make their voices heard across different platforms. 

According to him it was his school that inspired him to work for social and cultural upliftment. Furthermore, he feels that the positive support that he received from his teachers made him a good and confident leader.
